US Mail delivery position available with a Regional Postal Contractor. This is NOT home deliveries nor is it a Seasonal job. This is Post Office to Post Office along a regular scheduled route, no overnights all in the local Plattsburgh area. Great position for a retired person looking to supplement their retirement or SS. 20.5 hours guaranteed a week with the potential of more hours and covering for days off or vacation of one of our full time drivers.
Set Schedule:
Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 5:15 pm 2.75 hours/day, 13.75 a week
Saturday (Split Shift) 5:30 to 9:00 AM and then you go back out to collect the mail at 2:30 to 5:45 PM 6.75 hours/day
We schedule 5 weeks in advance to allow for your time management. Must be able to drive a 24' box truck and work Saturday's. Paid training is provided.
Requirements:
Class B or D clean license (some violations accepted)
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Pass a USPS federal background check
Current DOT Medical Card or able to obtain one
