We are looking for a tutor, preferably with a background in Waldorf education, to work with our third grader and first grader, in person, 3-4 days a week, (2-5 hours/day) starting in Fall 2025. The ideal candidate will have current knowledge and experience teaching reading and math and will incorporate movement, stories, and games to enliven lessons. We have school space in a 4 season yurt in the Adirondacks with access to vegetable and flower gardens, chickens, and walking/cross country ski trails. This position has the potential to grow into an ongoing arrangement, and we are open to expanding to include additional children in the future.
