The candidate will provide routine sample testing and method verification and qualification to support process development of early phase vaccine candidates and method transfers to other departments. Assays include but are not limited to HPLC and UV-VIS. In addition, the candidate will provide technical support for qualification of EXCEL spreadsheets. m.How You Will Achieve It
Perform analytical method qualification/verification and routine sample testing in support of process development and stability assessment of early phase vaccine candidates. This includes preparing samples, setting up and running the instruments, and analyzing data.
Document experiments, analyze data, and provide conclusions obtained from sample testing contemporaneously in an electronic laboratory notebook.
With guidance, draft and revise laboratory methods and reports.
Support assay training and transfer of methods.
Support qualification of EXCEL spreadsheets according to the standard operating procedure.
Plan daily workflow to complete the tasks/experiments outlined by the supervisor.
Contribute and participate in general laboratory maintenance activities (such as maintenance of equipment, managing laboratory waste).
QualificationsMust-Have
BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline with 3+ years of related work experience, or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline.
Experience with separations-based and colorimetric based assays is desired.
Good interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
Motivated, detail-oriented, with good laboratory skills.
Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Nice-to-Have
Understanding of various instrument related scientific software
Desire to develop their own technical skill set is essential

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00.
