job descriptionPackaging AssociateAre you looking to join a growing company in the agricultural industry?If so, we have a great opportunity for you! A well-established agricultural company is now hiring for production workers at their new Webster/Ontario location. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity and is an entry level position. No production work experience is required. This position is offering a competitive pay rate and a lot of room for advancement.Pay Rate: $13.25/HourAdditional compensation will be paid to employees on a piece rate basis after going permanent with the company. Permanent employees will also have access to the company's benefit package!Hours: 7:30 PM - 5 PM Monday - FridayTemporary employees will be restricted to 40 hour work weeks until they are converted to permanent employees.The work environment is a 25 acre indoor greenhouse.Responsibilities:As a packaging associate you will be pulling orders and boxing goods for shipment. Using hand tools
Picking products in greenhouse
Visual inspection of plants

Previous production and/or agriculture experience is preferred, but is not required
-Able to pass drug screen and background check
Able to work 40+ hour work weeks
Tolerant of heat (can get warm in Summer months)
Forklift experience is a plus
Basic counting skills
Hand tool experience is not required but is a plus
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
