Job Title: Warehouse Cleaner
Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Cleaner. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our warehouse facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to creating a safe and efficient work environment.
Hours: 10am-2:00pm Monday through Friday - Flexible
Pay rate: $16.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Clean and maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
Keep walkways and aisles clear of debris and obstructions.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and power washers.
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and perform light to moderate physical labor.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
Good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and respond to basic inquiries.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
