Description Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, and payroll. The clerical staff will report to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Oceanside, New York area. Alternative special projects as requested

Manage Accounts Receivable

Update Accounts Payable

Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

List budget transfers

Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Create cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation

Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Report on business license and gross receipts

Formulate cash flow projections, as needed

Guide monthly accounting close Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Be detailed, flexible, and organized

Noteworthy accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

Highly organized and self-motivated

5+ years of related experience- Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
