Job Title: Inventory Management Support C Job Code: 10875 Job Location: North Amityville, NY Job Description: Responsible for performing the warehouse (stockroom) activities including receiving material, unpacking, counting and checking incoming stockroom receipts and re-packing, creating and applying labels, locating material in stockroom on shelves, racks ,and bins, etc., creating/processing related paperwork and records, processing TrakStar database transactions (e.g. data entry of receipts, location changes, issues, cycle counts, etc.), perform material issues, perform cycle counts, and transporting/delivering issued material to internal destinations. The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license. The candidate will be required to use mobile powered equipment including electric pallet jacks, hoists, lifts (i.e. work assist vehicles and stock pickers), and forklifts. Physical requirements include hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, the ability to stand for extended periods, perform stockroom functions at 20 feet heights and lift approximately 35 pounds. The position requires general computer literacy. Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Experience in a stockroom/warehouse environment

Preferred Additional Skills:

Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good customer service, problem solving, and time management skills.

Familiar with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word

Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, integrity, accountability, and excellence.

Organizational, Operational, and Leadership skills.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $41,000 - $76,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
