Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures and replenish supplies, maintaining sanitation guidelines
Pressure wash concrete surfaces to remove dirt and chewing gum, etc.
Stock closets and replenish paper products in the restrooms
Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets standards
Report maintenance repair problems to Supervisor
Follow safety and environmental business practices and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
6 months' experience in custodial and related services preferred
Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions
Ability to work quickly under pressure
Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
No high school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and reach above head level
May be required to work twelve to fifty feet (or more) above the ground on ladders or high lift/scissor lifts
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to work inside and outside with exposure to heat, dirt, noise, fumes, wetness, paint and solvents
