Kubernetes Engineer Location:- New York City, NY Duration: - 11 Months Responsibilities Responsible to collaborate with businesspeople to have a real-time understanding of business problems and expected to focus on the agile methodology of development. Deliver high-quality change within the deadlines. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high-quality deliverables, should be willing to learn new technologies. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (pref. Computer Science or related degree) or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications
- 10-15 years of overall experience with minimum 5 years of experience and expertise in Kubernetes.
- Must have hands on experience on APIGEE.
- At least 2 years of Micro Services Experience is required. AWS or Google Cloud Platform any should be ok.
- Kubernetes cluster setup exp. on Azure or OpenShift (expert)
- Docker/Docker Compose (Containerization exp.)
- APIGateway Admin exp. (API Proxies, bundle, swagger endpoints, RBAC, permissions, etc.)
- Support existing in-house built automation and tooling available via. Jenkins & TeamCity-based Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines. As Tooling is created using the technologies Kubernetes/Azure/Azure DevOps/OpenShift cloud-managed platforms thus is mandate for a candidate to possess well-versed working exp. with any of Azure Kubernetes Services or OpenShift Kubernetes Services
- Should have a good understanding of implementing Infra-As-A-Code(IaaC) for infrastructure provisioning on-prem & on-cloud(Azure) platforms.
- Must have well-versed exp. with one of the Configuration Management tools - Terraform or Ansibles
- Should have exp. in debugging/triaging production issues & performing RCA by leveraging monitoring & analytical tools like Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.
- Scripting exp. in Python is also required.
