Pixie Scout Delivery Person - Part Time
Pixie Scout is seeking a part time driver to deliver food from our commissary kitchen in Crown Heights, Brooklyn to various locations throughout the wider NYC metro area. The delivery driver is responsible for following delivery dispatch protocols, safe driving, and careful “last mile” hand off of catering and other Pixie Scout products. The delivery driver is also responsible for running various errands throughout the city that support the mission and efficiency of our commercial kitchen (commissary) in Brooklyn as well as our workplaces in Dumbo, Brooklyn and The Battery, Manhattan.
Candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and handling rolling carts in addition to driving. Members of the delivery team also communicate with Pixie Scout customers in the context of deliveries a basic proficiency in the English language is necessary for this position.

Job requirements:
Valid driver's license from one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts is required
A smart phone, Pixie Scout offers a stipend to offset the cost of a 5G data plan
Able to stand for at least 8 hours and complete tasks that may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
Basic proficiency in English language is required
Basic proficiency in Spanish language is preferred

Seeking availability for Saturday and Sunday Shifts, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation Details:
Starting pay: $21.63/hr
1 hour of Paid Sick Leave accrued for every 30 hours worked
