MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Will train right individual.

Malca-Amit Custom House Broker seeking hard working, self-motivated, detail oriented person with good communication skills required. Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Must be willing to work overtime and must have a car. plus medical and dental .

Data Entry and Documentation:

 Enter shipment details into internal systems or customs software

 Prepare and file customs entries and other required documentation.

 Ensure accuracy of import paperwork (commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists).

 Correspond with clients regarding ISF, documents, classification, Customs/PGA issues,

exams/holds, etc.

 Monitor, track and tracing client shipments.

 Ensure accurate and timely transmissions of CBP PGA entries.

 Participate in on-going education/training.

 Ensure timely billing to clients.

 Customs Compliance:

 Ensure that the correct Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) is used.

 Assist in ensuring shipments comply with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) PGA

regulations.

 Maintain updated knowledge with basic import regulations.

 Support management with entry audit.

 Support management with reviewing of departmental reports.

 Communication and Coordination:

 Communicate with clients, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies as

needed.

 Track shipments and update clients on the status of their cargo.

 Clerical and Support Duties:

 Scan, file, and maintain records of all processed entries in accordance with Customs and PGA

regulations

 Timely and accurate billing of completed entries.

 Support senior specialists or customs brokers with administrative tasks.

 Learning and Development:

 Participate in training programs to understand customs procedures and regulations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

Intermediate level computer skills, with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and time-management skills.

Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Willingness to learn U.S. Customs regulations and documentation procedures.
