Responsibilities:
-Conduct detailed inspections of roofs to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
-Measure and calculate accurate roofing estimates, considering various factors such as materials, labor, permits, and overhead costs.
-Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand their roofing needs and provide accurate estimates within established timelines.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure accurate estimations and the highest level of customer service/satisfaction.
-Collaborate directly with the owner to review, estimates and proposals, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
Requirements:
-A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE IS A MUST Must have the ability to travel to various job sites across Hudson County, NJ with a company van.
-The ability to climb ladders ranging in height from 12 feet to 40 feet.
-Not afraid of heights! This position requires you to mount roofs via roof hatches, fire escapes, bulkheads, and/or ladders.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in the roofing industry preferred, preferably in estimation or related roles; willing to train!
-Extensive knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
-Strong analytical skills to accurately calculate estimates and perform cost breakdowns.
-Proficient in using roofing estimation software and other relevant tools; knowledge in using JobNimbus is a plus!
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
-Detailed-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
-The experience/knowledge of using a drone to take photo and video documentation. We will train you on how to fly the drone if you have not done so before!
