Our client is seeking a Master Electrician to join its dynamic field operations team in New York City. This onsite role plays a crucial part in supporting energy efficiency initiatives and ensuring precise utility metering systems are installed, maintained, and optimized in both residential and commercial properties.

About the Role:

This position involves:

Inspecting and analyzing electrical and mechanical systems in buildings (existing and new construction).

Installing and retrofitting submetering systems and AMR (Automated Meter Reading) equipment.

Servicing electrical systems, installing thermostats and high-efficiency lighting.

Electrical panel labeling to ensure proper breaker mapping.

Collaborating with operations and service teams for effective project execution.

Mentoring field technicians on basic electrical practices and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Master Electrician License (Valid in NY)

5+ years in electrical services; HVAC. troubleshooting (3–5 years) a plus

OSHA 30 & SST 10 certifications required

Strong familiarity with 120/208V and 480V services and standard trade tools.

Knowledge of plumbing/electrical codes and regulations.

Proficient with digital multimeters and Microsoft applications.

Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, both on-site and remotely.
