AC Autobody & Mechanical Service is hiring a full-time Lead Mechanic/Technician to join our busy and growing shop in New Canaan, CT. We’re a well-established, family-run business known for quality, honesty, and personalized service. What We’re Looking For:
5+ years experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Solid diagnostic skills and the ability to lead mechanical work from start to finish
Experience with both domestic and foreign vehicles
Strong work ethic, team-player attitude, and attention to detail
ASE certifications preferred but not required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
What You’ll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles
Communicate clearly with service staff regarding repair needs
Help guide junior techs and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and correctly
Maintain a clean, organized work environment
