We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and help deliver high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services to our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring HVAC systems are operating efficiently, diagnosing issues, and performing both preventative and corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial settings. Ensure all installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations.
System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, including identifying problems with components such as thermostats, compressors, ducts, and air handlers.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components to ensure systems are running at peak efficiency.
Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner. Explain system issues and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades. Answer any questions clients may have regarding HVAC systems.
Documentation and Reporting: Complete service reports, work orders, and inventory logs in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards, company policies, and local regulations to ensure safe and efficient HVAC operations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle hazardous materials according to guidelines.
On-Call Duties, rotational: Be available for emergency service calls as needed, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. HVAC certification or completion of a formal HVAC training program is preferred.
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and repair techniques. Familiarity with local HVAC codes and regulations.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, tools, and materials.
EPA certification (for handling refrigerants).
Pay: $35-55/per hour, depending on experience. After 1-year of employment: 2-weeks of PTO eligibility and 25% benefits covered.
