We are seeking an experienced Fine Millwork/Woodwork Producer to join our team. This is a production-oriented role that requires a highly skilled individual capable of working efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong background in fine woodworking and millwork production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Brownstone Door Co. is a high-end woodworking shop with a rich history of craftsmanship. We create custom wood doors and decorative millwork elements. We pride ourselves on our high standard-driven work environment where efficiency and precision are paramount.
The ideal candidate must operate with a high degree of skill, self-sufficiency, and driven to continuously learn.
We are looking to bring on an individual with a minimum of 8 years of woodshop experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute production tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and tools, including saws, routers, planers, and sanders.
- Able to take production from technical drawings to the finished product.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in fine woodworking and millwork production.
- Proficient in operating a wide range of woodworking machinery and tools.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and processes.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal waste.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
