We are an established and busy Auto Body Shop; Detailing shop in business 40+ years seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician ("Bodyman") for immediate hire. Candidates must be punctual and reliable!
This is a Full-Time position with possibility of promotion to Department Manager.
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 9am-2pm with Sundays off.
Qualifications:
- Replace interior and exterior panels.
- Replace glass and windshields.
- Repair panels and remove dents to refurbish damaged bus exteriors.
- Needs to have knowledge of body repair materials.
- Paint panels to match using proper paint codes
- Assist in assessment of vehicles
- Maintain inventory of replacement panels
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
- Knowledge of different cleaning techniques & products for various surfaces.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid NY State Driver’s License.
- Must speak fluent English and be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be willing to take direction and criticism positively as well as work under close supervision.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in Auto Body field
- Degree in Auto Body a plus but not required
