Carpenter Mechanic – Well established commercial carpentry company looking for the right person to continue to develop their career. The correct person will have a minimum of 5 years full time work experience with at least 3 years in carpentry or related field. Work experience should also demonstrate their reliability and character. Physically, the work requires the successful candidate be able to lift 75lbs from floor to overhead, carry heavy material to location, be able to climb a 30’ ladder, not have a fear of heights. It is expected that the right candidate will be familiar with a commercial construction work site, have worked with steel stud framing and be able to measure and cut accurately, be able to frame having been given verbal directions in English by the foreman and have working knowledge of suspended ceiling installation is a plus.
You will be required to have a current, 40hr SST Card; personal hand tools; and must be able to travel to work site(s) in all 5-Burroughs plus the surrounding areas.
