The Auto Collision Estimator role is a customer facing role that is critical to the longer-term success of our independent auto repair business. The Superheroes in this role are friendly, compassionate gearheads who are excellent communicators and experts at building long-term relationships with consumers.
Job Duties
Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after completions of repairs
Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle
WOW every customer through all phases of the collision repair process
Prepare estimates in accordance with Insurance partner and company guidelines
Source parts based on estimates and communicating with auto body technicians
Interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns and provide timely and meaningful responses
Liaise with insurance companies to provide necessary documentation and negotiate repair costs, if required, showcasing your familiarity with insurance claims procedures and negotiation skills
Serve as a customer relationship manager

Minimum Qualifications
3-10+ years experience in a similar role
Knowledge in Estimating CCC One.
Familiarity with various insurance direct repair guidelines
Positive and friendly attitude
Excellent listening and customer service skills
Compassionate with the ability to successfully to manage a team of technicians
Dependable
Self-motivating
Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
Knowledge of automotive software a plus but will train
Knowledge of basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.
I-CAR or ASE Certifications are a bonus
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of auto estimating experience preferred
