I am a freelance video producer and fixer for overseas media. I have two straight news stories that I need to do in Manhattan for Azerbaijani Internet news. This is a for a well known and watched streaming video news series in Azerbaijan.
I need someone with TV news experience, and a reel. The ideal candidate will be between the ages of 28 and 40, male or female, and able to interview and report in English and Russian. Interviews will be in English, and stand-ups will be in Russian. You should look and sound like an experienced network level broadcast journalist and have no problems dealing with the requirements and challenges of news reporting in New York. You should be able to provide a suitable wardrobe for this type of assignment. Our stories and scripts are already provided, so this is primarily for a face and voice, not a news hound. Each story would be shot and completed in a single day.
Pay is by the day, flat fee. Right now I have two projects slated for the next couple of weeks, with the possibility of this becoming a regular gig for the right person. You should have availability in the next two weeks.
