About Us
We're a multi-media project dedicated to exploring and developing horror/gothic content from a feminine/queer perspective. Our channel is a safe and inclusive space where we celebrate our shared love for all things scary and strange. Whether you're into the macabre, the occult, or anything that goes bump in the night, we promise you'll have a great time making videos with us!
What We're Looking For
We're seeking talented, enthusiastic, and charismatic women and queer people to join our cast and crew. Your role will involve participating in and/or producing a variety of content, including:
Video essays (on topics such as pop culture & Internet culture, analysis of horror movies/books/shows/video games, all things unexplained & possibly paranormal, or the stories of historical women and queer people)
Vlogs and reviews of local gothic or horror events
Horror video game play-throughs
Our ideal candidate will be able to come up with ideas for original videos, pitch those ideas, then film them, or—in the case of video essays—research, script, and record them. (By “record them,” we mean one of two options: you can film yourself on-camera narrating the essay or just provide a voiceover, pending your preference.) After that, you will hand off the material to be edited, uploaded, and promoted by us. We take care of the technical side of things, so you can focus on what you do best: being yourself, harnessing your creative concepts, and sharing your unique perspective.
Financial Fairness
You’ll retain the majority of income generated from ads and sponsorships for your videos, while we’ll take a small cut as compensation for our efforts, primarily our editing. If you’d prefer to edit your own videos, then our cut will be further reduced.
How to Apply
1. In your response to this ad, tell us about yourself, your interests, and what type of videos you’d be interested in making.
2. Share any relevant experience or skills you have. Prior familiarity with content creation would be a bonus, but it’s not a requirement—passion and creativity are what matters to us most.
3. Pitch us any specific ideas for one-off videos or video series that you have.
