Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Web Developer with expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Blazor to work full time in our Brooklyn office which is located in the Coney Island section of South Brooklyn. As a Backend Web Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power our web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend systems using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Blazor.
Database Management: Design and optimize database structures, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure the integrity and security of our data in SQL Server.
API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements.
Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize the overall system performance.
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance and expand your technical skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in backend web development using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Blazor.
Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and SQL query optimization.
Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, Angular, and JavaScript.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
