Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Tattoo Artist/Piercer to join our team at our new, larger location in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques, a passion for the art of tattooing and piercing, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their tattoo or piercing ideas and preferences
Provide expert advice on design, placement, and aftercare
Create custom tattoo designs or adapt existing designs to meet client needs
Perform tattoo and piercing procedures with precision and attention to detail
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Educate clients on proper aftercare procedures to ensure the best healing outcomes
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and equipment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist/Piercer with a strong portfolio of work
Proficiency in various tattoo styles and techniques
Knowledge of piercing procedures, including aseptic techniques and anatomy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members
Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, hygiene, and customer service
Tattoo license and certifications in bloodborne pathogens and infection control (required)
Willingness to adhere to all local and state regulations governing tattooing and piercing practices
