We are a busy Brooklyn salon We are looking for someone who can work looking for 3 or 4 days a week.
This is a great position for someone interested in the beauty industry but doesn't have a license.
We are looking for a hard working person who is willing to shampoo, sweep, do general salon cleaning, clean color bowls, fold salon towels, and greet and help clients buy product and pay for their services.
Duties/Responsibilities
Client Care and Stylist Support
Shampooing clients
Greeting clients and getting them a drink
Helping stylists manage their day if they run behind
Salon Space Cleaning
Cleaning, sweeping, washing color bowls, dropping off laundry and folding towels.
At the end of each day you will be responsible for straightening the salon, and doing a thorough clean of the break room, the shampoo area, and the salon floor and stations.
Qualifications
Physically able to move quickly and willing to be on your feet the whole shift
An interest in small business, or beauty industry
Must be good with people
Has conversational English
