You must be tech friendly to book your own appointments and check out clients. We retail high quality products from Davines that can allow you to earn 20% retail commissions!
Responsibilities:
If you are a cosmetologist we expect that you have skills and knowledge to perform a variety of services such as color, cutting, styling and smoothing treatments on all types of hair. If you are a barber we expect that you have skills and knowledge to perform haircuts such as but not limited to skin fades using clippers and scissors. Beard shaves are not required. After performing a consultation with your client, the service should be performed to their satisfaction adhering to our quality of service guarantee. You must keep your station clean according to state board sanitation guidelines as well as take part in a team effort to keep the general salon clean and ready for great first impressions.
Requirements:
NYS Cosmetology or Barber License
2+ years of experience behind the chair
At least 1 weekend day Required
Must be able to work independently and a part of a team
