Hi

My name is Eamon and I'm looking for someone to help me with some basic HTML and social media management. The programming should be pretty straightforward, but I would like someone who can think outside the box and propose elegant solutions.

The "Systems Architect" job title is mock serious; I could do this work myself, but I just want someone smart to bounce ideas off. And I honestly would like to find someone with advanced technical knowledge to explore writing some algorithms.

I am a Carpenter and CNC Programmer who recently designed a mobile espresso cart for selling coffee in our local parks on a donation basis. It's very fun. Attached are photos of v1 and v2 of my cart. v1 was made with a jigsaw, v2 with the CNC. Look how far it's come.

I would like to build 3 more carts (to start) and share / rent them to people who are also interested in the social adventure that is selling espresso in the park. I envision a rolling coffee collective, if you will. This is an art project with a capitalistic component, rather than the other way around. I would like to launch a small but potent inquiry into the politics of commerce.

I would like to promote my project and document the adventures, and instagram will likely be helpful with that, but I have reservations about the politics and psychology of mainstream social media. I'd like a freestanding HTML page that works well with multiple contributors.

My personal website is eamon.neocities.org . Please take a look, to get a sense of the Web1.0 design that I like, and the kind of physical objects that I like to design. I would love to find a programmer who has similar design sensibilities, but in a different domain.

I listed $32/hr and $40/hr as two example rates of pay. The first is what I make, the second is what I think I should be making. We can have a conversation about what is fair. I can also trade furniture / fabrication / CNC services.

This is a project about the role of commerce in the life of a community. Please have something to bring to that conversation.

Thank you so much
