Design sophisticated solutions for systems that result in simple, extensible, maintainable, high-quality code based on 12/15 factor app methodology. Corroborate with key stakeholders within Middle Office, Controllers, Credit, Fund Finance, and Front Office Technology teams to gather the technical needs of the business in order to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions on time. Provide hands-on technical leadership in software architecture, design, development, code reviews, quality assurance, observability, and product support. Utilize SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and TDD/BDD/ATDD to deliver bug-free software to support design discussions and code reviews as needed. Support efforts to deliver enterprise solutions with minimal traditional coding at a higher velocity by sourcing and implementingnewtechnologies and proven methodologies. Lead business requirements and technical design discussions while collaborating across the firm with data managers and key stakeholders to implement trade operations and controller functions solutions across Private Equity, Credit and Real Assets. Position based inNewYork,NY; telecommuting permitted up to two times per week.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in development. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: building integrations using services and APIs; SQL/ORM and NoSQL technologies; Java, Javascript, Spring Boot, JPA, or Scala; automating workflows with a Low Code/No Code platform; and risk and regulatory reporting. Experience may be gained concurrently. Position based inNewYork,NY; telecommuting permitted up to two times per week.
