As we continue to grow, launching new chapters in Silicon Valley, Charlotte, Washington DC, Austin, and London, we are opening a role for a motivated Sponsorship Sales Associate to join our team on a contract basis.

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and driven Sponsorship Sales Associate to help expand our network of corporate sponsors. This role is particularly suited for new graduates, early in their careers, those looking for their first professional role or people looking for a flexible side hustle to complement a regular 9-5. It is also ideal for individuals between roles, those looking to pivot into tech, or professionals returning to the workforce after a career break.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, solicit, and secure new sponsorship deals with potential corporate partners.

Manage and nurture relationships with existing sponsors to ensure their continued support and satisfaction.

Tailor sponsorship packages to the needs and goals of each sponsor.

Keep detailed records of sales and sponsor interactions.

Collaborate with our small but mighty team to promote sponsorship opportunities.

Communicate suggestions for improving sales and marketing materials to enhance the outcomes of sales conversations.

Provide regular updates to the leadership team on sales progress and potential sponsorship opportunities.

Training and Support:

Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this role.

Requirements:

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle objections effectively.

Strong communication and business writing skills.

Excellent attention to detail and customer-focused mindset

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Bonus Skills:

Comfortable with social media and/or social selling.

Strong social media following on platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, or an interest in developing a strong professional brand

Location Considerations:

While this position is remote and open to candidates nationwide, there is a preference for applicants who are based in or near New York or Silicon Valley. Proximity to these areas may enhance the candidate’s ability to engage directly with our community and participate in local TechWalks, providing firsthand experiences that can enrich their understanding and effectiveness in the role.

Compensation:

This is a commission-based, contract position offering competitive rates, giving you the opportunity to significantly influence your earnings through your sales achievements.
