Title: Event Coordinator
Location: New York City, NY
Job Type: Part Time or Full Time based on experience.
Jet Set Venue is a White Glove Marketplace with over 200 Venues in New York City. We are looking for a sales manager who has a strong sales foundation, someone who is great with meeting new people, highly responsible and reliable. We are a team who works very hard and has fun in the meantime, we have a spot that is open for a sales manager who will be paid on commission only. There is a ton of potential here with an opportunity to grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute site visits and walkthroughs for potential clients.
Provide on-the-ground support for live events, ensuring smooth operations.
Assist the CEO and other sales managers with administrative tasks and day-to-day operations.
Maintain and update website listings of available venues.
Research and identify new venues to add to our portfolio.
Manage event and meeting calendars efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to enhance client experiences.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, a positive personality, and a strong desire to learn about the event industry.
Reaching out to leads, booking events and closing sales.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in calendar management tools.
A passion for the event industry and a hunger for growth.
Previous experience in event planning or a related field is a plus.
Commission only.
