We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Guard to join our team for our soft opening and on. As a Security Guard, you will be integral to maintaining a safe and secure dispensary environment.
Your responsibilities include:
Access Control: Monitor and control entry points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
Patrols and Vigilance: Conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks, respond to alarms, and maintain a visible presence.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activities, taking appropriate action and documenting incidents.
Collaboration: Work closely with dispensary staff to enforce security policies, address concerns, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and local law enforcement when necessary.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a retail or cannabis-related setting.
Knowledge of security protocols and state/local regulations related to cannabis security.
Strong observational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Security Guard license as required by state regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, between 25 to 40 hours, including late nights and weekends.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
