HIRING: DOOR PERSONNEL / EVENT SECURITY – NYC
Freelance Position | Special Events & Art Gallery Openings
Location: Tribeca, New York, NY
Rate: $25/hour
Untitled Productions is seeking a professional, experienced, and attitude-free security guard or door person to support special events at our Tribeca gallery and off-site productions. The role involves crowd management, client interaction, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests during busy gallery openings, private events, and creative productions.
We are looking for individuals who are confident, composed, and capable of handling high-traffic situations with professionalism and calm authority.
Requirements:
Valid NYC Security License
Prior experience at events, galleries, or retail environments
Availability for evening freelance gigs (5PM–10PM), as well as occasional weekends (afternoon/evening)
Ability to stand for long periods
Punctual and reliable
Professional attire required: black suit preferred (no t-shirts, jeans, or sneakers)
Must speak fluent English
Polite, client-friendly demeanor
Skilled at handling crowds and event traffic with confidence
Able to de-escalate conflict and manage problematic individuals effectively
Stays focused and calm under pressure
Looking for someone specifically for this weekend, Saturday, August 16th (3-8pm)
