SECURITY SYSTEM – LOW VOLTAGE TECHNICIAN AND LOCKSMITH TECHNCIAN
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including intercom systems, access control systems, CCTV, network cabling and locksmith (including repairing and installing locks).
Network cabling and computer skills to set up Internet devices like routers, switches, printers, IP cameras, and troubleshoot problems, a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues on security systems including shorts, opens, communication issues, and reconfiguring devices.
A strong understanding of relays, power supplies and wiring troubleshooting
Troubleshoot issues with the cable network
Ability to install, test, and configure low voltage systems
Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls
Ability to install conduit and molding with clean runs
Ability to pull, splice and terminate wires
Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.
Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and inner ducts
Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
This role requires a highly skilled professional who can work independently and as part of a team providing expert service to our clients.
Must be in Good Physical Condition
This job requires lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, use of tools, and talking to customers
Must be eager, self-motivated, punctual and a responsible person
Must be drug, alcohol free
Clean Record
Must have a valid Driver’s License, and clean driving record
Locksmith Certificate would be ideal, but not necessary
OSHA 40 hour certified a must. If you do not have it, willing to get it
Spanish would be ideal, but not necessary
Able to speak and write in English
