Pain d’Avignon is a small business with a serious passion for the craft of bread and pastry making, and for the enjoyment of eating them. We produce fresh breads and pastries daily from our commissary in Long Island City for our wholesale clients, as well as our retail locations located throughout NYC.
We are searching for a dependable team member to join our receiving team. Must be able to drive a forklift. Bilingual- english/ spanish a plus.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Drive a forklift
Assist in the receiving process, checking and sorting incoming goods.
Maintaining inventory
Performs other duties as assigned as related to the facilities
Assist in keeping the facility clean, and organized.
Assist in maintenance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Skills:
Forklift
Valid driver license with clean driving record a plus
Prior warehouse experience
This position is based 5 days per week in Queens, New York. Weekend availability needed.
