Stockroom Associate / Brooklyn, NY
Caron Callahan is hiring a Stockroom Associate for our Boerum Hill, Brooklyn studio. Candidate must be a highly detail-oriented self-starter with excellent verbal communication skills. Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and effectively prioritize and manage a multitude of tasks on a given day.
General Duties:
- Fulfill online orders
- Open online order returns and process items back into stock room
- Track shipments that are delayed or in customs through various mailing carriers
- Physically receive deliveries from UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS and help load outgoing shipments daily
- Put away and organize new stock inventory
- Pick and pack wholesale orders
- Order, receive and organize studio and shipping supplies
- Keep the stock room and studio tidy, i.e. taking out trash in studio, put away all shipment boxes, label and organize all inventory in stock room
Job Type: Part time, Mondays and Fridays
Typical Hours: flexible 11am – 6pm, schedule subject to change
Pay: $16/hr
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service
- Comfortable working on the computer to print shipping labels, order supplies, etc.
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
Experience:
- At least 2 years with retail and/or stock room experience
Education:
- High School Diploma
