Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The order collector (picker) collects online orders by physically pulling inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of products to our NetCost Market customers. He/ She will also pack orders, prepare them, and ensure orders are accurate in accordance with the quality standards.
- Collects online orders
- Pulls items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
- Ensures that orders are accurate in accordance with the quality standards
- Packs orders in accordance with the packing guidelines
- Pays extra attention to order details, substitution preferences and customer comments
- Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
- Plans and monitors supply inventory
- Oversees stock replenishment
- Ensures NetCost Market goals are met
- Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
- Shrink wraps products to pallets
- Loads delivery vehicles
- Packs orders as necessary
- Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked, and inventory is managed accurately
- Other duties as assigned by the E-Commerce Supervisor and Store Manager
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and stay on feet for a long period of time
- Positive attitude
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in fast paced busy environment
- Ability to work in chilled area (refrigerated area)
- Excellent communication skills
