We are seeking a dedicated and organized Parts Department Associate to join our team and ensure our service operations run smoothly.

Job Summary:

As a Parts Department Associate, you will be responsible for assisting management with organizing the inventory of parts required for the maintenance and repair of laundry machines. You will work closely with technicians, ensuring they have the correct parts for repairs, and assist with ordering, stocking, and tracking inventory. Your role will be essential in maintaining efficient service operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organize, and maintain inventory of parts for laundry machine repair.

- Assist service technicians by ensuring they have the correct parts for scheduled repairs.

- Coordinate with suppliers to order parts and ensure timely delivery.

- Monitor stock levels and perform regular inventory checks.

- Handle customer inquiries about part availability, pricing, and ordering.

- Process part returns and handle defective items efficiently.

- Keep the parts area clean, organized, and safe.

- Support the service department with additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (not required but will be a plus) additional training or certifications in inventory management or related fields is a plus.

- Previous experience in a parts department, inventory management, or in a similar role within the repair industry (laundry, appliances, etc.).

- Familiarity with laundry machine parts or the ability to learn quickly.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Basic computer skills for managing inventory software and processing orders.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry parts and equipment up to [weight limit].

- Standing and walking for extended periods.

- Comfortable working in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
