This is a hands-on, in-person role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. You’ll play a central role in the production process — coordinating jobs, communicating with vendors, maintaining tight records, handling repairs and returns, and assisting in the creation of new jewelry designs and product lines. Strong organizational skills are essential — you’ll be trusted with high-value inventory, tight timelines, and critical production workflows.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone with direct experience in jewelry production or custom jewelry design.
Key Responsibilities:
Help develop and launch new jewelry designs and product lines
Pick up and drop off jewelry, molds, castings, and stones within the Diamond District
Coordinate with setters, polishers, casters, engravers, and other vendors
Track timelines and order status; relay updates to internal teams
Prepare and manage paperwork for casting, setting, and quality control (e.g., stone maps)
Source stones, findings, and materials as needed
Conduct basic quality control checks (e.g., loose stones, polish, design accuracy)
Manage repairs and returns, ensuring smooth resolution and tracking
Maintain organized records of all incoming/outgoing pieces and production flow
Assist with photography, packaging, and general production area upkeep
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in jewelry production or designing jewelry products/collections
A creative and highly organized mindset with a passion for luxury craftsmanship
Knowledge of Diamond District workflows and common jewelry manufacturing steps
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Confidence handling delicate, high-value merchandise
Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to operate under pressure
Experience using monday.com is preferred and recommended, but not required
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and valid photo ID required
Compensation & Schedule:
Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Subject to increase over time based on performance
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday – Friday
Standard shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (8 hours)
Occasional weekend availability may be required
Location: In-person, New York, NY 10036 (Diamond District)
Perks & Benefits:
Paid time off
Employee discount
Opportunity to contribute creatively to high-end custom pieces
Work with a fast-growing, respected brand in the luxury jewelry space
Clear room for advancement within the production and design departments
