Our client is a private investment firm that is looking for a Receptionist for their New York City office. This role will include both administrative duties as well as managing the front desk. This is an entry level opportunity for a college graduate with excellent customer service skills, flexibility and no task too big or small mentality. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, is key for this role as well as the ability to exhibit a professional and personable demeanor always. This position is 4 days on-site and 1 remote for now, from 9am – 6pm EST.
Responsibilities:
Meet and greet internal employees as well as external guests with the upmost professionalism and personability
Manage phone systems, answering and directing calls accordingly
Oversee internal calendars and systems, primarily conference scheduling
Administrative duties
Assist in catering needs
Provide back up support where and when needed
Qualifications (degree, skills/attributes needed, years of required experience, etc):
Bachelor’s Degree
Prior experience working in office environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Administrative experience
Proactive
Ability to work with all professional levels
A ‘no task too big or small’ attitude
Salary/comp info, including any bonus or benefits:
Compensation is based on experience is around $70- $80K base with a bonus & 100% paid benefits. Additional perks included paid lunch.
