Our client, a well-known economic advisory firm, is seeking a temporary part time office manager for their downtown office. There is a guaranteed 8 hours/week with a flexible in office schedule.Essential Job FunctionsGreet guests (hang up coat, offer coffee, let relevant staff know of guest arrival)Maintain and order office and kitchen supplies and keep track of billing.Maintain a tidy office, including putting away supplies, keeping kitchen and reception area clean, keeping conference rooms and supply areas orderly.Compile, scan, and sort documents, such as invoices and checks.Assist staff as necessary to book conference rooms for meetings.Send documents via UPS or FedEx as required.Add guests to CIM system security and add/remove Kastle swipe cards.Liaise with CIM building management regarding any maintenance requests.Maintain office/kitchen equipment and liaise with vendors (Vivreau, Keurig, Nespresso).Assist Admin Associate on small lunch events for clients, to include venue selection, negotiation, coordination, etc.Coordinate in-office events such as group pizza lunches or employee cooking competitions.Water plantsSkills RequiredExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including use of proper grammar and spelling in internal and external communication.Able to shift priorities quickly and resume less immediate tasks in timely manner.Required Education and ExperienceA bachelor's degreeMinimum 1 year experience in office managementThis role requires knowledge of MS Office ToolsCompensation: $25/hrBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
