Charter School Network located in Midtown Manhattan seeks a Temporary Part-Time Front Office Specialist. Responsibilities include daily tasks such as greeting incoming staff/guests/visitors/vendors, sorting mail, kitchen/pantry inventory, coordinating office repairs, vendor management, and support on events. This position will start ASAP, by September 3rd the latest. The schedule requirements are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday on site from 8am-4:30pm. Must have flexibility to come in on Mondays if needed as well.Responsibilities: Receive and direct visitors, couriers and building management staff accordinglyAccept and validate deliveries, including office equipment, pantry supplies and freight deliveriesProvide assistance to staff with use of office equipment (fax, copiers, etc.)Perform morning walkthroughs to ensure a safe and clean front office areaAssist in verifying reservations and room setup for meeting spaces and wellness room usageSort and distribute mail & packagesOversee kitchen amenities and replenish pantry items on a daily basisDaily preparation of coffeeOrdering and stocking pantry suppliesOrganization and cleaning of common areasVerify catering, general office protocols and building access requirements are adhered toLiaise with building managementEnsure that building management is delivering quality servicesAttend trainings provided by building management and ensure compliance with emergency proceduresSupport with org-wide events as requiredQualifications: B.A. or Associates degree preferred1 - 2+ years experience in office environmentFriendly, approachable and professional demeanorOrganized with strong attention to detailAble to manage competing demands and prioritiesAbility to maintain confidentialityReliable and dependableProficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google DocsPhysical Requirements:Up to 30 lbsCompensation/Benefits: DOE $20-$22/hrBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
