Our law office represents immigrants and their families in both routine and complex immigration and deportation defense matters.

::Opportunity::

We are seeking to hire a full time bilingual (English/Spanish) client facing receptionist.

::Primary Duties::

##Greeting clients

##Answering incoming calls (95% of caller are Spanish speakers)

##Taking messages, updating call log, and documenting call outcome

##Setting reminders for outgoing follow-up calls and messages to clients

##Scheduling appointments for existing and potential clients

##Settings Reminders for follow-up tasks

##Responding to incoming client text messages

##Sorting/Processing Incoming Mail

::Skills::

Our ideal candidate is someone who is very well mannered, soft spoken, patient and empathetic. You are punctual and comfortable multitasking. You are also extremely well organized, comfortable communicating by phone or by text, and genuinely enjoy helping those less fortunate.

##You should be experienced with Microsoft Word/Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Google Office Suite.

##Bilingual English/Spanish - able to read, write and speak grammatically correct in both languages

##College Diploma or Equivalent

##At least 1 year prior receptionist or front desk experience preferred.

::Compensation::

$20-30/hr commensurate with experience. Paid vacation time. Pension Plan.

::Position::

This is an onsite FT position.

Our office is located in a modern 24/7 doorman building in Kew Gardens, Queens.

The building is adjacent to the E/F subway stop for Union Turnpike/Kew Gardens.
