REAL Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality and compliance of our supports or services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and monitoring performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Quality Assurance Coordinator Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with standards and

regulations

2. To attend compliance meeting and webinars

3. Coordinate and/or conduct Consumer Safety activities including; investigations/assessment and evaluations;

incident/accident/grievance tracking; case reviews related to incidents, analyzing quarterly and annual trends

providing resolution status

4. Chair, as appropriate and/or participate in program Incident Review committee meetings

5. Conduct the implementation and on-going administration of annual Customer Satisfaction Surveys within areas of

program responsibility, aggregating data, analyzing Customer Satisfaction Survey trends and working

collaboratively with program staff regarding following up activities and improvement required

6. Monitor reports capturing key program indicators and other quality improvement data involving trends and working

collaboratively with program staff regarding follow-up activities and improvements as required

7. Create, oversee and conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing

quality systems

8. Collaborate with Directors and Coordinators to identify areas for process improvement and develop action plans to

address any identified issues

9. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas of concern, and provide recommendations for

corrective actions

10. Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation, including standard operation procedures, work

instructions

11. Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and

standards

12. Conduct training sessions to educate employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices

13. Develop, as needed, and or utilize agency systems for on-going program data collection and trend analysis;

implementing procedures to use such systems in areas such as: demographics, incidents and accidents; the conduct

of investigations, program specific demographics, etc.

14. Participate in quality Team meetings. Communicate results and recommendations to key audiences including the

presentation of Quality Improvement reports to staff with analysis of trends. Assure recording of minutes, as

appropriate

15. Ensure the implementation of current and/or revised policies, procedures and protocols as indicated in the agency’s

program manual, and as per OPWDD and HCBS mandates as requested by state. As changes occur

16. Investigate and resolve grievances and complaints; ensuring timely and effective corrective actions are implemented

17. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness and encouraging employee

involvement in quality initiatives

18. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and regulatory requirements, and ensure

adherence to these changes

Quality Assurance Coordinator Required Skills

1. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

2. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts

and ideas

5. Proficient in using quality management software and tools

6. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills

7. Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree, MA preferred.

2. At least 1 year of supervisory experience

3. QA experience

4. Proven experience in quality assurance or a related role, preferably in a regulated industry.

5. Strong knowledge of quality management systems

6. Experience conducting audits and inspections, and implementing corrective actions.

7. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to the industry.
