Safeway Management Group, Inc. is currently seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our organization. We are looking for an individual who is efficient, capable of working independently but also comfortable being a member of a team. Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and have a wide breadth of experience managing clerical responsibilities. Our ideal candidate would be someone who is energetic, passionate and takes pride in assisting our clients in meeting their goals.

Through our Administrative Support and Consultation services we’ve fostered long term relationships with customers by leveraging our products to support their specific needs.

Administrative Roles & Responsibilities:

Answer customer and internal emails in a professional manner

Carry out administrative duties such as mailing, faxing, filing, typing, and copying

Scan confidential customer documents and upload into data system

Conduct past employment background inquiries by researching and calling companies for contact information

Review applications and forms for completeness and accuracy

Update MS Excel workbooks

Create PDF files from MS Excel and Word documents

Distribute monthly file audit reports to customers in a timely fashion

Run customer reports from internal and external systems

Compile customer data upon request

Able to start IT help desk inquiries (working with our IT personnel)

Meet customer and internal deadlines for reports, data entry, conference calls, and other projects.

Position Requirements:

Proven administrative experience

Knowledge of office management procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Fast, proficient, and accurate typing/transcribing skills

Experience with complex file management

Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing skills

Ability to demonstrate discretion and good judgement when working with confidential employee and customer data

Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook - A MUST)

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Training is provided, small office atmosphere with friendly staff.

This position will begin as a part-time hourly role with a flexible Monday thru Thursday schedule during working hours. Most likely work from home Friday opportunity. The ultimate goal of this role will be to become a full-time salaried position.
