We're looking to bring on an Administrative Assistant that will report under the Senior Executive Assistant at a Tech Startup to be in office 5 days a week in Lower Manhattan.
The Administrative Assistant will ensure smooth operations in the onsite Shiftsmart office infrastructure. You will be primarily working with the Senior Executive Assistant to assist in office support including but not limited to event planning and coordination, kitchen and office supply restocking, light IT maintenance, and serving as the liaison with building management. We want to create the best possible workspace for our employees and you will be a critical part of that as we continue to scale.
In this role, you will need to be quick on your feet when problems arise and think ahead about what the needs of the employees might be. Your work will directly impact our team members' employee experience!
This role is based in New York City (HQ) with typically 5 days per week in the office and reports to our Executive Assistant.
You will work with the Executive Assistant to:
Assist the office in day-to-day operations and administrative tasks
Coordinate social events and gatherings
Serve as a liaison with building management
Keep the office well organized and maintained
Coordinate deliveries when needed
Make sure meeting rooms are ready for the day
Help ensure smooth onboarding for new employees
Order office supplies and restock the kitchen
Provide support as needed to the leadership team

Role requirements: There will be occasional heavy lifting. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs (i.e. water bottle deliveries).
Compensation philosophy
To provide greater transparency we share base salary ranges, which are based on role and level benchmarked against similar stage, high growth companies. Offers are determined based on multiple factors including skills, work experience, and relevant credentials.
The base salary range for this role is: $65,000 to $75,000
