Position: Silkscreening team member
Location: Long Island City, NY
Responsibilities:
Hand-Silkscreen signage, maps, and various informational items with precision and accuracy.
Manually match paint colors to meet client specifications and ensure consistency.
Burn, block and pinhole screens.
Work with photopolymer materials to produce ADA compliant signage.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Silkscreening on a variety of materials including plastic, metal and wood.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a silkscreener or similar role.
Ability to match colors and adjust color mixes to client specifications.
Familiarity with braille photopolymer materials and their application.
Proficient in the safe operation of small power tools including saws, shears, and routers.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently meet deadlines.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
