We are a growing manufacturing company located in North Yonkers with a full time position open in our Shipping and Receiving department. (Other Shop positions also available.)
Requirements: Proficient in English (conversation, reading and writing) and basic math. Must have good work habits and be available to work a 40 hour week (M-F; 7:30 to 4:00). Must be eligible for employment in the U.S. and you will need to pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pack, wrap, label, load, ship)
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Complete daily logs into inventory
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Operate Forklift (training provided)
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
