Job Description: As our Bakery Production Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our cookie production process. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire production line, from baking to icing to applying fine details. Your goal is to ensure that our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively while maintaining the high standards of quality our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management: Oversee the entire production process, including baking, icing, and final detailing, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.

Process Optimization: Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement systems and strategies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase output.

Cost Management: Work closely with our team to manage costs, optimize resource allocation, and improve profitability.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor production staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and working effectively as a team.

Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient usage and inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering and reducing unnecessary stockpiling.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality across all stages of production, implementing and enforcing quality control measures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a bakery or food manufacturing environment. (10 years +)

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Experience in process optimization and cost management.

Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
