Seeking Exhibition Designer for Showcase Displays at Jacob Javits Center

We are seeking talented exhibition designers to craft captivating displays that will foster an inviting atmosphere for an upcoming exhibit at the Jacob Javits Center.
As an exhibition designer, your role will be pivotal in curating commercial showcases that highlight unique products, employing innovative shelving and fixtures. Your designs will incorporate signage featuring striking imagery of our premier products, alongside our company logo and visuals of people using our products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design visually appealing displays that draw in the audience, utilizing space efficiently to facilitate easy access for visitors to view our products.
2. Showcase our top products prominently, ensuring they capture the attention of attendees.
3. Clearly convey our message, concept, and brand image to visitors.
4. Adhere to space, time, and budget constraints, procuring necessary signage and products in advance.
5. Collaborate closely with our team, participating in daily meetings to select and highlight products, and address lighting considerations.
6. Understand and comply with show management regulations to ensure smooth execution.
7. Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits from international attendees, including high-end cosmetic companies and renowned designers.
Additionally, your role will involve overseeing the implementation and construction of the exhibition or display stand, aligning with our vision and guidelines provided in the Exhibition guide.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing exhibitions for various trade shows.
- Background in visual merchandising, architecture, or related fields preferred.
- Design Layout for the display and products + Purchase all decorative and display materials. Due by April 7th.
- Ability to meet deadlines and execute projects with precision.
- Portfolio showcasing previous exhibition designs.
- Concept completion by April 7th to 8th, 2024, with all necessary products procured for display.
