Printing company seeking an on-site full-time production artist to manage pre-press and design.
The right candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player who is open to learning and comfortable
in a fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications:
-Must be proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
-Knowledge of color theory and management
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
-Comfortable communicating with clients
-Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines
-Ability to reliably commute to our Maspeth Office
Responsibilities:
-Setting up / sending files to print
-Creating proofs for customers
-Designing artwork as needed
-Managing job tickets
-Adjusting and creating die lines
-Managing database of previous jobs
-Some general office duties
Big plus if you are bilingual (English + Spanish) and have previous experience in printing. We are looking
for experienced or entry level candidates and are willing to train. Hours: 9-5.
with ability to leave early on Fridays.
