Fernando Mastrangelo Studio (FMS) specializes in crafting exquisite Mirrors and Flatworks, meticulously layering materials such as sand, salt, and glass to create singular works that are uniquely characteristic of our brand. As the LS, you'll be integral to the entire production process, overseeing tasks from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include managing the production schedule, handling orders, setting up the workshop, building tables, and ensuring all aspects are ready for production to commence. This focus will be your area of expertise within the studio. Additionally, our Brooklyn location will also handle all sample making and shipping.
After relocating our operations to the Catskills in 2019 and diversifying our approach to making things, we are now returning to Brooklyn after four years. We're excited to announce the opening of a Mirrors and Flatworks Studio dedicated solely to 2D works and some research and development. This presents a unique opportunity for you to join our evolving and expanding studio, playing a key role in spearheading this next phase of growth.

Requirements:
5 years of experience minimum. You need to know how a studio functions and how to work effectively, project management skills are needed for this role.
Have a great attitude about coming to work everyday (we try to keep a light heartedness in the studio).
Enjoy what you do, and want to do it really well.
Be passionate about your craft and crafting to FMS standards, want to be great at it.
Want to always be growing, and learning and perfecting your craft.
Be excited to do a good job and take your job seriously.
We want someone long term, this can be a place to grow and be treated well financially and as a person.
You must be ok with social media, you will be filmed and edited into Reels.
If you want to have your own business eventually, this may not be a good fit.
CAD, Rhino, Sketchup, Photoshop, Dropbox and Mach 3 skills are necessary for the positon.
